Welcome, the name is Juan, also known as Captivitas in the social world. My passion for photography and film was sparked by a GoPro and road trip up the coast to Big Sur with a group of friends. Fast forward two years later and my urge to explore and document has influenced not only my lifestyle, but those around me as well.  From the moment I decided photography/film was more than just a hobby, developing my own style and creating one of a kind content has been my ultimate goal.

Having the ability to create both stills and video has allowed me to become a versatile artist. Self taught, my vivid images are inspired by a wide range of artists and by the beautiful scenery of the central coast. Living just a few minutes away from the beach has not only helped me develop my style, but it has taught me the importance of using natural light. From wedding photography to music videos, there is no task that I am not willing to dive in to and let my creativity flow. It is through this approach that I strive to convey a story through every click of the shutter.
